Widgetsmith 7 on iOS 18 includes new ways to use your widgets to perform useful Actions from your Home screen, Lock screen, and Control Center. Actions allow you to quickly launch an app, run a Shortcut, make a call, send a text, or play music. Actions are chosen from our curated and ever-growing list of options and can be easily personalized.

In Control Center, Action Widgets can be customized to display your chosen text and icon. Control Center allows you to place your Action Widgets on a number of different pages, letting you place commonly used controls just a swipe away.
Custom Actions can be placed in Control Center or on the Lock screen in iOS 18.
Two of your favorite actions can be promoted and placed on the Lock screen, replacing the built-in Flashlight and Camera options if you wish.
